The Legend of Zelda

So, what Zelda games have you played and which ones do you love/hate?

I have played a lot of them, but never the GB versions. The ones I liked were OOT, the first Zelda on NES and Twilight Princess. I really wanted to try Four Sword Adventure on Gamecube.

The only Zelda game I really didn't like was Zelda 2 because it was so weird.

I have to buy some Wii points and buy all the old Zelda games again ^^.

I loved all the zelda games. Is it true you can buy old nintendo games on the wii. We get one this xmas but i've been iffy about playing it because the controller annoys me.

I have played the first Zelda, Link to the Past, OOT, Majora's Mask, WindWaker, Minish Cap, and Twilight Princess. I enjoyed them all, but Minish Cap was my least favorite. It was too short.

OOT of course takes the cake. In fact it's my favorite game of all time. I could just spend hours riding Epona through Hyrule Field, and going fishing at the Hyrule pond.

I think what really got me is how Link grows up in the game. So it was like you grew up with him and grew stronger with him, until reaching Ganon.

Yeah, you can get Wii points and download old games onto Wii. It's something they have called virtual console. It has every old Nintendo system on there.

I forgot to answer that question, but yeah you can. I'd do it if I didn't already have all the Nintendo systems (well, except Virtual Boy >_>), and I really don't see the need, unless I find a game I didn't own. then I'd buy it.

I used to own the first series of Mega Man games. I kicked ass at them as a kid but last time I tried a rom, I got owned. Wtf?

I have played all the Zelda games, but the old school ones before OoT other than Zelda II.
I actually remember enjoying Zelda II when I was kid, but it was hella hard for me, again, from what I remember. XD
I also haven't played Oracle of Ages...is it any much different from Seasons?

Maybe you can get a copy of Four Swords for your gameboy, but you'll have to grab some friends as well. It's hella more fun with friends.

@ Sheila: oh man Megaman <3 I only owned one of the games on the NES, I loved it so hard hahaha XD

You can also use a Gamecube controller for Wii. They are pretty cheap these days. The problem with that is the cord is kinda short

I have no good friends who play Zelda...well 1 person but he is more lazy and poor than I am. Need new friends.

Old Megaman is great, I don't know what this new crap is though. New Megaman is too easy and not as cool.

They are like rpgs and stuff now but they look like they are for little kids.

I've played a good number of the Zelda games. Honestly outside of Zelda 2 and Majora's Mask I've played them all, even the Gameboy Color ones. I'm probably going to get MM off of the Wiishop since it's on there and I no longer own an N64.

Anyone considering getting Skyward Sword? I know this was mentioned before. Gotta show the greatness.

God yes! My life will not be complete until I play and beat this game.
I've been excited for it ever since it's announcement.

Some people aren't thrilled about the baggy pants. But consider this; poor Link has had to wear tights pretty much in every game; I think he deserves a bit of freedom for once...LOL.

And I don't like all the Links looking the same since they aren't, so his design sits well with me.
