    Silent Hill Empty Silent Hill

    Post  Jenny Wed Nov 17 2010, 23:26

Any Silent Hill lovers out there? * A *
I can't wait for the new one coming out next year...!
    I'd probably say SH2, SH4, & SH:SM were my favs.
& I know majority of old school SH fans weren't fond of SH:SM...don't hate ):
    haha

I still have yet to beat Homecoming, but the story hasn't really drawn me in that much.
It's pretty depressing because I don't know if I'll ever beat it. OTL"

Yes, I have collected every SH game and I love all of them. That is until some of them got stolen from me pale. My favorite had to be SH 2 and SH 3. 4 was good but it was a little weird having a first person mode in the room.

I never beat Homecoming either, it's a cool game but it had actual combat in it which is weird.
Shattered Memories was actually a lot of fun for me. I liked how it was slow paced story and running away from the monsters was pretty intense.

The only SH game I don't own is the first one. I may download the game on my PS3 one day /doesn't own a PS1
& that sux! Did you know who stole it from you? I'd hate that. >_>

I thought it was pretty cool to have the first person mode in his apartment cuz it felt more like I was there with the disturbing hauntings.

Wow, you're like the 2nd person I've met who grew up with SH & enjoyed SH:SM.
Most of the people I know has felt SH:SM wasn't really a "SH game" based on the gameplay & because of that = dislike.

Homecoming is just blahhh to me, just like Origins was...but I managed to beat Origins because I was @ work with nothing else to do.

I wish I knew who stole it, then again I kinda don't cuz I would beat em up.

The first person mode really distracted me from the rest of the game. I would walk around that room for hours just messing with stuff for no reason lol. Every 5 mins "ooh what's this do?"

SH:SM was a lot of fun for me. I like the ice effects in it since I'd play it real late at night in the winter. The cell phone was so cool, but I felt like a retard holding the Wii mote up to my ear.
I think it was a lot better than people give it credit for. The thing is, it was never meant to be like a direct sequel and most people hate that.

Homecoming and Origins are my least favorite. They ruined it with the fighting to me, it makes the game less scary.

Hahaha I don't think I was that distracted with the room XD

I also played SH:SM @ night in the winter as well
& I'm too much of a dork to find the wii mote phone retarded lol
What ending did you get through your first run through?

& ya, I didn't like the fighting either....& the breaking of my weapons =_=

I'm glad you two enjoy Silent Hill; I myself have never had the opportunity to play, but I'd like to someday. If you two like it, then I know it's good.

I remember playing a silent hill game on the ps1 and it creeped me and my brother out so much we never touched another one. I can't play the scary games by myself.

Yeah, it's scary but it's addicting cuz you have to see what happens next.

I remember 1 scene in SH3 where I almost threw my controller down because it freaked me out. You just walk into this empty room and you figure, oh ok nothing in here so I'll leave...nope.

Yeah...more than likely I'd end up being too scared to play. I tried Resident Evil for the Gamecube when I was 15 and shat a brick...LOL.

@ Zero: omgawd haha I've seen that video before.
I never ended up in that room when I played the game, which I'm thankful for lol

    @ Sheila: PLAY THEM.
& I've wanted to try the Resident Evil games, but I'm not sure which game to start with lol
I'm a type of person who likes to play the games in order.
